I would use a talking book traditional media in my classroom to help children that are struggling or a little behind with their literacy skills. A talking book would help the student by aiding them; the child could read along with the book and would understand the difference in soundings or words and letters. Also, sometimes if the child is reading a book they can comprehend it better because they don't have to focus on reading each  individual word. A creative way I could use digital audio media MP3 players is by recording the children reading a certain book and every so often letting them listen to the recording to see their progress. This will actually show the children their strengths and weaknesses for each evaluation. Or you could record a lesson plan for each student on a MP3 player. During a quiet time each student would listen to the lesson plan and you could judge who is good at following directions. A visual technology that can be used in the classroom is projectors. Projectors can unite the classroom to focus on one subject. Each student could have a turn to attempt to write the correct answer on the projector, and the other students are able to see what that student did right or wrong. A non-projected visual that could be used in the classroom is printed materials. Printed materials allow each student to practice a lesson. Practicing the lesson on printed paper also gives the students the opportunity to trade and grade others papers.
